A number of Facebook Groups exist to support both the wider Channels Community and each locality development ‘parcel’. Channels residents therefore have the opportunity to become members of two core groups, a development-wide one and their locality specific one.
There are also two additional community based groups. A ‘Support Local Business’ group is a convenient place for local businesses to share and update what they have to offer the community. The ‘Community Marketplace’ group is somewhere for residents of Channels to flag that they have items they want to sell or to post requests for items they are looking for.

Membership approval may involve acknowledgement of the group rules and the requirement to answer up to three questions to assist admins in determining whether a potential member is a resident. If you are asked to answer questions, you must do so otherwise you will not be admitted!
