The Safer Communities Sub Committee is responsible for promoting neighbourliness, good citizenship and community spirit by encouraging residents to work together to create a safe, attractive and friendly place to live.
This Sub Committee is also responsibile for the development and management of a local Neighbourhood Watch with the aim of building a community where crime is less likely to happen and where people are less likely to turn to anti-social behaviour.
