Biography
I have been a resident on Eagle Rise from late December 2017 and since that time I have watched the Bellway development grow, witnessed huge improvements to estate landscaping and wherever possible have welcomed new neighbours as they have moved in.

It struck me that we were a group of people all new to Channels and that if we wanted to make a difference, we needed to do so together as a community. I saw the opportunity for us to come together, get to know each other and work to ensure that the expectations we all had when sat in the Bellway sales office were delivered after we moved in.

Like my fellow committee members, and subsequent to the initial meeting with DJC Property Management in May 2018, I offered to become involved and have been supporting the committee in the role of secretary for the past year. I am particularly focussed on building relationships with our neighbouring communities (Little Waltham & Broomfield) and this resulted in being nominated and elected to Little Waltham Parish Council in May 2019.

I am passionate about ensuring our community is accessible to everyone that lives on or visits Channels and I am particularly interested in the design of future open spaces to ensure they are indeed accessible for all. This has led to continued engagement with the landowners agent, and their design company, in relation to the vision and design for the open spaces that have to be provided throughout the wider development.

You are likely to see me out and about walking, running (well trying to!) or on my bike so please do say “hello!” as we pass!
